Yes absolutely, The One is 100% vegan. 

The One does not contain any allergens and the manufacturing site does not handle allergens.

It is suitable for Halal diets and Kosher diets. 

Routine iron supplementation is not recommended for everyone preconception or in pregnancy in the UK - it is given when there is a demonstrated need, usually after a blood test. Iron is also a common cause of nausea and constipation, which matters when we are asking you to take something daily for months. If your midwife or GP has identified low iron, they will prescribe the right dose for you, and The One will not interfere with that.

Also The One contains Vitamin C which increases iron absorption! 

The One is a capsule formula and omega-3 needs an oil-base. If you eat less than 3 portions of fish a week, we recommend you take Omega 3 as a separate supplement. 

The One is designed for women, but it contains similar ingredients to what supports sperm health - many of our customers share The One with their partner and they both take it.

No need to switch products once you’re expecting. The One is suitable to take before pregnancy, during pregnancy and after birth, so your daily routine stays the same.

Yes you can take The One to proactively support normal fertility + reproductive health. Many of our customers do this, even though not actively trying. 

Yes if you are on birth control and planning for a family, you can absolutely take The One whilst on birth control.

The One is a food supplement, not a treatment for any condition. However many of our customers with these conditions have found it helpful in supporting their cycles and 'time of the month' symptoms.

Two capsules a day, at any time of day, ideally with a meal.

Food helps, because the formula contains fat-soluble vitamins (D, E and K) that are absorbed better alongside some fat. A meal that contains any fat at all is enough - you do not need to plan around it.

Just take your usual two capsules the next day and carry on as normal, no need to double up.
Missing the odd day really doesn't matter, this is something that works over months, not like a course of antibiotics where every dose counts.

Caffeine can reduce absorption of some minerals, so where you can, try leaving an hour between your coffee and your capsules.
If that's not realistic day to day, don't worry about it too much, taking them with your morning coffee every day beats taking them perfectly twice a week.

Most women start 3–6 months before planning a family, then continue once you've got your positive test and after birth, with no need to switch products.

Early pregnancy

NHS guidance recommends taking folic acid supplements up to week 12 of pregnancy. The One contains 400µg of active folic acid, in the form of methylfolate.

Yes, The One is safe to continue taking whislt expecting. It is formulated to support  all trimesters of motherhood. 
It contains key nutrients including methylfolate, Vitamin D3, zinc and choline which are particularly important during the first trimester for tissue development. 

Yes it support newborn feeding and recovery after birth. 

Yes, you can keep taking the 5mg as prescribed. The One already contains 400mcg of methylfolate, the active form of folic acid at the NHS recommended dose. Taking both together is not harmful, as folate is water-soluble and your body will excrete what it does not need. If your GP has prescribed the higher dose, do ensure you take that alongside The One. 

The One is designed to be your main daily supplement, so in most cases you would not need a separate multivitamin alongside it. Taking both means doubling up on the same nutrients, particularly Vitamin D and B vitamins. Single supplements that do not overlap, such as omega-3, are generally fine. If you are unsure whether something overlaps, feel free to send us the label and we can take a look.

Many of our customers do, and The One is trusted by IVF clinics. There is nothing in the formula that is generally contraindicated during treatment. However your clinic is running a specific protocol and should know everything you are taking, so please do let them know and show them the ingredient list. Many clinics recommend The One to their patients during treatment. 

Please speak to your GP or endocrinologist before starting. The One contains iodine and selenium, both of which support normal thyroid function. Let you doctor  know about anything new you are taking. It is also worth noting that levothyroxine is usually taken on an empty stomach away from other supplements, so take them a few hours apart. 

Our customers haven’t reports many side effects on The One. The most common is a change in periods as any new dietary change, nutritional improvement, change in exercise, stress or sleep can have an affect on your periods. This usually settles after 3 months of use. If you experience any thing else, let us know and also get advice from your GP. 

Do not take The One if you are allergic to any ingredient on the list. Please speak to your doctor first if you are under medical supervision, taking prescribed medication, have a thyroid disorder or epilepsy. Do not exceed two capsules a day. Keep out of reach of children. The One is a food supplement and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and does not replace a varied diet or the advice of your GP.

The capsules are small and easy to swallow. The recommended dose is 2 capsules a day, taken with food. If you prefer you can also open the capsule and mix the powder in with food like a smoothie or yoghurt. This is perfectly fine and will get absorbed into your system too. The power is unflavoured and odourless.

Each bottle contains 60 capsules, which is a 30 day supply. The recommended dose is 2 capsules per day, taken with food.

If you struggle to swallow capsules, you can open them and mix the contents with food or a cold drink such as a smoothie or yoghurt. We would recommend not mixing with a hot drink as this may affect the nutrients.

The capsules themselves are not big or smelly and our customers have never reported any issues with smell.

The colour of the powder is not uniform because The One contains many different ingredients, each with its own natural colour. Just as apples can come in different shades, our natural ingredients can also have variation of colour depending on the season. Some darkening over time is completely normal and is a reaction to air and moisture. It does not affect the quality or effectiveness of what is inside the capsule. Store them somewhere cool and dry, away from the bathroom and direct sunlight.
